Metal outdoor stairways are common in older homes in South Jersey and Philly. One they start to rust and break they can be very difficult to fix. Replacement can be insanely expensive and overkill especially if only one portion is broken. It's good have a mobile welder in your rolodex of you have money homes with metal stairs!
