Managing paper checks and payments are real part property management and can't be eliminated depending on the size and type of property manager you are. In the state of NJ it is mandatory to accept paper payments from tenants. Additionally some government vouchers are paper payment only. Its important to have a system that allows you to collect, deposit, and track these payments. Without it you can end up in a tangled mess of accounting.
