Local Property Management
A Moorestown rental is usually somebody's significant asset: a Main Street colonial, a newer build off Westfield Road, a family home kept after a relocation. Managing it is less about filling a vacancy and more about protecting the property and the rent quality. We manage 850+ units across South Jersey with exactly that mindset.
The Moorestown Rental Market
Moorestown draws executive and relocating-family tenants, people moving for jobs along the Route 38 corporate corridor or into the school district, and they pay top-of-county rents for the privilege. The vacancy risk is low; the mismanagement risk is what costs money here. A bad placement in a $3,000-a-month house is a five-figure mistake.
So the discipline is screening and documentation: verified income and landlord history on every applicant, a photo-documented condition report at move-in, maintenance handled by trades who treat a nice house like a nice house, and a monthly statement that shows you everything. That is the standard on our own properties and it is the standard here.
| Unit size | FY2026 Fair Market Rent | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 1 bedroom | $1,520 | Philadelphia metro FMR area; your ZIP's payment standard can sit above or below this |
| 2 bedroom | $1,810 | Philadelphia metro FMR area; your ZIP's payment standard can sit above or below this |
| 3 bedroom | $2,170 | Philadelphia metro FMR area; your ZIP's payment standard can sit above or below this |
Full bedroom-by-bedroom figures and how payment standards work are on our NJ Section 8 payment standards page.
Most Moorestown rentals price above voucher payment standards and run best as conventional tenancies, and we will tell you that plainly rather than force a program fit. Where a Burlington County voucher tenancy does make sense, the county process is on our Burlington County Section 8 page.
Common Questions
Yes, accidental landlords are a big share of our owner base. We handle leasing through statements, you approve anything over $1,000 from wherever you live, and the house is inspected and photo-documented so you always know its condition.
Income verification at multiples of rent, employment and prior landlord checks, credit and eviction history, applied identically to every applicant under fair housing law. At this rent level we would rather hold two extra weeks than place the wrong tenant.
Move-in and move-out condition reports with photos make the security deposit enforceable, and NJ deposit law is followed to the letter. Beyond the deposit, we document everything an attorney would need, though with proper screening it rarely gets there.
