Pitman is barely two square miles, built around the historic Pitman Grove, a former Methodist camp meeting whose radial streets are still lined with the small, close-set cottages that give the borough its character, plus a walkable Broadway anchored by the restored Broadway Theatre. Most rental stock is single-family: modest colonials and twins, plus those distinctive Grove cottages that trade on charm and location.
This is a family town with good schools and a slower turnover than the cities to the north, so the winning strategy is a well-maintained home priced correctly, not a churn-and-burn. The Grove cottages come with their own quirks, tight lots, older systems, and a preservation-minded neighborhood, and we manage that character rather than fighting it.
